The Social Task Force
The neighborhood social staff accompanies residents from the beginning of the planning process throughout occupancy.
The support focuses on increasing household income through rights realization, debts settlements and employment advancement. In addition, the team works to build community leadership and participation and strengthen the neighborhood’s resilience.

General Information About the Neighborhood Today
- Ranked 3 out of 10 on the socio-economic index of the Central Bureau of Statistics (Israel)
- 60% of neighborhood residents are families living in rental housing without housing stability
- A mixed Jewish-Arab community, approximately 30% of residents are Arabic speakers
- The neighborhood is located near the city’s train station and the seaside boulevard.
- Nevertheless, housing prices in the neighborhood are 40%-50% lower than the national average, which prevents urban renewal in the complex.
